I love going to Beach City Dental! Dr Baker and his team of front office and Dental and Hygienist (Amanda, Maralee and Christina) that have treated me, are pretty spot-on with their care. From first greeting to in chair treatment and a smile upon exiting their office, for me, it’s been one great customer experience after the other!

Let's just start with, I have a phobia of dental work. My visit was AMAZING from the start with the reception I received. Vickie brought me back and took care of me, explaining everything that was going to happen. Dr. Baker came in and again explained what was going to happen before it happened, diagnosed my issue, and setup a plan to fix it. No selling me on cosmetic changes, no "oh sorry" from probing the pain area without asking. It felt like they were doing what was right for me, not for their wallet. I had not been to the dentist in 10 years because of my phobia, but will be going back in a couple weeks for my crown, and every 6 months after that now that i have a dentist and office that I can trust to take care of me. For anybody out there, especially those that are scared to death of the dentist, I could not possible recommend this team any higher.

I’d highly recommend Dr. Mortenson. I’ve been a patient for over 20 years. The office is immaculate, and the staff is stellar. His expertise is unparalleled in my opinion. Also, the staff of the whole crew including the front desk with Ashley, plus the office manager Christina, both of which have been integral parts of their operation as long as I’ve been visiting this office, represent the service level that one would expect in n this sort of operation. Also, let me say, the hygienists are very professional, and I’d like to say special thanks Amanda who has been such a nice expert in her field, and made me feel like I should come back.

I was greeted by name and told they would let the hygienist know I was there. Waiting room was clean and comfortable. It was just a few minutes and I was taken back. The hygienist was friendly and efficient and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Baker did an exam and both gave great suggestions for me to do better at caring for my teeth. The hygienist accompanied me to checkout and again I was greeted by name and told they would bill insurance. I’m very pleased with personal attention in a clean, modern office where everyone was very friendly and showed concern for me. Great experience!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Marcus Baker and his entire team. From the moment I walked in as a new patient, they made me feel so welcome. Dr. Baker gave me over an hour of his time just to walk me through my options for my front teeth, numbers 8 and 9. After getting two other opinions, I realized just how special Dr. Baker is—he’s the best of the best. He didn’t just push for the most expensive route; he was incredibly honest, patient, and focused on preserving the work I’d already done. I never once felt taken advantage of. On top of his incredible skill, Dr. Baker has this wonderful way of making you feel relaxed. He even cracks a few jokes in between, so it never feels tense. And even while he’s working on my teeth, he keeps up a light conversation, so there’s never that awkward silence. The entire visit was thorough, and I left 🙏🏼feeling confident and cared for. If you’re looking for a dentist you can truly trust, Dr. Baker is the one.
