What a wonderful Dr! Make me feel comfortable after he saw I was very stressed from past experiences and took time to explained everything thoroughly. Appreciate his kindness and professionalism. His staff is also so kind and concerning.

As a senior, I’ve had my share of dental visits over the years, but my experience at Brookside Oral Surgery truly stood out. From the moment I walked in, the staff treated me with kindness and patience. The office is clean, organized, and runs on time, which I greatly appreciated. Dr. Antonio Arredondo was outstanding. He took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand, and he made me feel at ease before, during, and after the procedure. I appreciate his calm and professional manner, and the recovery went smoother than expected. It’s reassuring to know there are providers like Dr. Arredondo who genuinely care about their patients, especially older adults. I wouldn’t hesitate to return if needed, and I’m happy to recommend him to friends and family.

I’m consistently impressed by Dr. Arreondo's expertise, professionalism, and compassion for patients. At the beginning of the appointment, Mr. Arredondo inquired about my mother's education in response to a question she asked about the anesthesia process. This led to confusion and a tense/awkward atmosphere. I felt uncomfortable and so I spoke to my mother in my native tongue to determine if we should follow through with this appointment. This for some reason aggravated Mr. Arredondo and began saying I was being offensive for speaking my language. He left the room and in the hallway made a scene by pointing at me shouting "You speak English in a doctor's office, you can leave" in front of all the other dental staff present and scurried to his next patient. We made appointment with the other ortho-surgeon who co-works with Mr.Arredondo. We came back the next day for it, but were told by a staff member that Mr.Arredondo had spoken with him and they decided that they will be refusing us service. Truly a horrible experience and unimaginable amount of unprofessionalism. Did not think I would experience such discrimination at a healthcare facility in this day and age.

It’s completely rude and unprofessional to tell your patients “you speak english when you’re at the doctors office”. Not everyone speaks english and if your patient doesn’t speak english, that shouldn’t be something you should comment on, provide accommodations for non-english speakers if it’s a problem for YOU. People expect to receive equal and fair treatment coming into a medical establishment, not be subjected to micro aggressions and rude comments. As upsetting it was for him to have to hear someone speaking their native language, it’s even more upsetting to have to hear the awful experience my friends had here.
